Hello
I'm measuring up to fit a flush pipe to a back-to-wall toilet. I read to put washing up liquid on the plastic flush cone before pushing it in to the pan, but it kept pinging out. I've since rinsed and dried it and started again but it sits tight for a moment before slowly edging out. It's better with the cone on its own but even then it backs out by 3-4 mm.
I'm not using the full flush pipe, just a 15 cm cut off as a test so I know it's square. Is that normal? I read a rubber cone is better than plastic so should I swap it even before I've begun? Thanks
