I have a lead valley that collects a lot of rainwater from the main roof and drains into a corner piece of a normal curved plastic gutter. In heavy rain the volume of water from the valley splashes against the back of the gutter and overflows.
I've seen lots of corner overflow protectors (or splash guards) for metal guttering but nothing for normal plastic guttering. Does anyone make anything like this? I don't understand why there are loads for metal guttering (so it is clearly a common problem) but none for the more common plastic guttering...
If there is no commercial solution, can anyone recommend a DIY one?
