please help phone trouble

Please help if you can,have just added a couple of phone points and phones work fine until broadband filters are plugged in.Then can hardly hear anyone and there in a lot of interference any ideas.Many thanks.

how have you wired them?are they hard wired or have you ran a plug-in extension? if the latter and you have plugged the the extension into a filter than you dont need anymore after it

Thanks for the reply. Its been hard wired using 2,3 and 5 wires have been checked, all bell out ok. Its just as soon as a filter is plugged in there is lots of interference and voices can hardly be heard.Any ideas am stumped!

50p says you have crossed one.

pull them all apart , start again, wire all 2's to 2 all 5s to5 etc but check as you go along all are working
