Plinth Heaters

Can anyone tell me which heater is best to go for?

We're looking at the options of Central Heating linked or Electric only.

Both equally convenient to have installed (I think) so I just want to know which is most economic. I am basing that on the assumption that an electric unit can be powered from a standard ring with a 10A FCU.

Chances are it won't be used very often as the kitchen tends to be warm enough but during winter it will probably be used a few times.

Any suggestions?

It'll be cheaper to run one off your central heating system than it will to run an electric one, but the installation costs will be greater
