My Ideal Icos M3080 system boiler is suddenly not firing up and displaying L/F. I had this 2 years ago, and it was the gas valve. This time there is no ticking of spark electrode. Have checked the probe and wiring, and it's fine.
I actually connected the cable to a hand spark generator from an old bottled gas cabinet heater, and got the boiler to light, but it would not continue.
Now the control panel has no lights at all, but the boiler tries to light, but still no spark.
Have lost the maint. book, and would like to check various fuses. Any help would be appreciated.
