Typical, while renovating the kitchen I took all the old ceilings down, while they were down I fitted new plumbing - thought I'd try plastic as I could thread them through the joists etc.
Used the proper tools used proper inserts etc. left the pipework exposed for 6 months while I got on with other things - no leaks.
Finished plastering the room / ceiling - no leaks
Finished prepping ceiling about to paint - starts leaking.

I'm sure someone somewhere really hates me... :LOL:

Turns out it wasn't the plumbing / plastic pipe, it was the bath trap - must've knocked it slightly 8 months ago when I replumbed, and just then it decided to start leaking, redid it and no more leaks (phew) :)
