My husband was laying the laminate flooring on the first floor. he nailed the floorboard which has resulted in a pipe burst, it was probably the central heating pipe and now our whole ground floor is leaking from several places. we have drained hot and cold water but still water is dripping, can u please tell us what to do now.

Drain your central heating from a downstairs (lowest) drain point. Turn the boiler off first at the mains. It is a combi boiler isn't it?

call an emergency plumber.

Have you turned off the main water stopcock?

If its dripping from different places theres probably quite a bit of water lying under the floor so even after the leaks stopped itll take some time to stop dripping.
