pneumatic time delay

hi all
i have 2, 2 way light switches controling one light at the moment but i need to change them for time delay switches. just wanted to know if the wiring is the same ie no and nc replace l1 and l2.

You can reuse the existing wiring, but the connections to the new switches will be different.

How many cable cores between each switch do you have 2 or 3, you need to only use the N/O contacts on your new ones and use two cores between each switch so the two switches are in paralell.

One core will be fed from the live and become permanently live at both switches
the other core will be terminated with your your switched live and become that at both switches.

You need to establish first where the live and switchline currently is first , label them for reference

Clipsal make nice ones and imo look better than the big columbus ones

I have used something like this in the past: the illumination is very handy and the electronics I find more reliable than the pneumatics. Plus, they can't be wedged with matchsticks.....
