I have a couple of cracks in a wall (emanating from the corners of an isolation switch). Not are about 250mm lond and about a mm wide. the wall is plaster on block. Woudl I be better filling them with Polyfilla or decorator's caulking?
Polyfilla can be sanded, whereas decorators caulk can't....thats used for filling on top of skirting boards etc where you can smooth the stuff with your finger. Polyfilla for you! Press it in as far as you can then sand down when dry. Open the crack out a fraction if its really fine.

Omw yes, forget to mention it, Red Devil onetime filler is the absolute dogs b*****s, Ive been using it for years, pricey but great stuff - slightly flexible too ..
Not suited to larger areas needing skimming though (unless youre rich )
