Hi,
I have just seen that it is against building regs to bury pipework in screed without it being removable and all joints should be accessible. I know that in our 4 year old house that we have poly pipe buried in the screed on the ground floor for both hot and cold and there must be a t-connection under there to feed the kitchen sink and also the downstairs cloak which is the opposite end of the hallway (hot and cold for sink, and cold for the toilet). None of this pipework is visible except where it comes out of the screed to the relevant fittings.
My question is, does anybody know when this regulation came in?
Many thanks in advance
Steve
