Porch Gallow Brackets

Hi All,

Just wondered if somebody could give some recommendations on the following;

My porch roof has gallow brackets with straight braces located into the main timbers by notches which are slightly decayed at the bottom.

Is there an option to repair the affected area or would the whole bracket need replacing.

Looks too far gone for a repair, but you can take some stain off and have a look.

With new brackets, ensure the timbers have end-grain preservative protection and regularly recoat and seal the joints to stop it happening again
