Hi folks.

I want to fit thermostatic valves to the last couple of radiators. Rest have been fitted already but I left a couple without to act as flow paths.

Where do I fit a bypass valve? Can I do this close to the boiler where pipes are easily accessed of does it have to be away from the boiler which would mean lifting carpet & floor boards? as it is an older house I don't really know which way the circuit goes and which radiator is at end of the line.

Thanks.

This is a very educational and entertaining forum.

Needs to be close to the boiler, or at least before there are any branches. I made that mistake and strange things happen.
