My Potterton 24 HE Plus system is making a very loud clunking sound. Only occurs when the central heating is on, not when the water is on. The thermostat quickly heats up then cuts off and falls then immediately rises again then cuts off again so the radiators don't actually heat up. It's working fine for the hot water. Any ideas please?
