Potterton Combi 80 Locking out?

Hi all,
Please could someone advise, I have a Potterton Combi 80 that everytime you turn on the hot water, the boiler kicks into life and you can hear and see the sparking, but the flame does not light, no hot water comes out and the boiler locks out. If you push the reset switch and turn on the hot water it goes through the motion again but then locks out.
I have checked and the light on the PCB comes on when you turn on the tap and goes off once the boiler locks out.
I can here the fan running and then that goes off. The pump is about 8 months old and I have fitted a new pressure release valve at the top of the boiler about three months ago.
Looking at the flow chart it appears to be the modular Board - PCB?
Please could someone advise,

Does the boiler work on heating ?? or does it do the same thing ?

I would be looking at the o/h stat and then checking the inlet gas pressure followed by the volts and resistance of the gas valve coil.

Anyway, new boiler fitted and all is now okay. Cheers for the help!
