I have a fault with the CH on my Lynx electronic AS FOLLOWS :
1. CH when prompted, fires up for around 20 secs and when CH temp gauge hits top red neon control sequence neons drops from full flame down to demand light on only.
2. HW will only work when CH switch is on along with boiler switch and strangely, whilst HW working, the HW temp gauge does not work at all, but the HW temp seems to be working in conjunction with HW. Surely if the HW is working then the HW temp gauge should be working as well ? Is this a fault on the full sequence board as there are signs of heat damage across resistors Z2, H2 and Q3 on the bottom/middle of the board.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

and if that doesnt work try the other 2 or cut your losses on a 20 year old cmbi and fit another one
