Just wondered if there is an 'average' lifespan for boilers? Mine is a Potterton Profile 100e and looks like it was fitted sometime between 1991 and summer 2002 (and I'm guessing nearer the former date).

Thanks,
Mike.

These boilers are well known for there reliability and as long as its well serviced and the system water is kept clean ie with fresh inhibitor every 5 or so years then it will keep going for 20 or 30 years :)

Many thanks, Gaz - always good to have this kind of info. to hand just in case I come across someone out to sell me a new one come what may!

Cheers.
