Hi new to this forum .I have a potterton performa28 and the problem I have with my boiler is ,as in when the ch/hw is called ,the boiler fires up for about 4-5 seconds then goes out .In this time the ignition electrode stays on until the gas goes off .The light flashes and the system has to be reset. Thanks for any help.

The advice is to get a competent Gas Safe registered engineer to diagnose the cause of the fault.
