Hi, I've been away for a few weeks and returned to no hot water while still having gas, (it may have put itself on to emergency credit while I was away but I've topped up now and still nothing).
I checked the boiler itself and the low pressure, (triangle inside a circle), neon light is on whenever I try to turn the heating on, pressure itself is on 0 .
I've read about the water pressure valves, (with the flexible silver pipe), and did as others have said, (turned them 1/4), but nothing happens to the pressure gauge
I've tried turning it off and on, resetting it, even bleeding a radiator, (it was 2am and it had been going cold before I left, seemed logical at the time)

I'm not sure what to do and can't really afford to call someone out, some help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you turn your water off when you went away, If you open both filling loop valves and nothing happens, then I would think its turned off elseware.

You fantastic, wonderful person! :D
That did it! I hadn't turned the water off anywhere but I was at a loss and took a flat head to the water pipe under the boiler and it worked! Thank you so much.
