On this the fan is cycling on and off every few seconds, it's not sparking or opening the gas valve. I'm almost sure that it is the electronic control box, but does anyone know if there are any other faults on these that give these symptoms. Thanks ray

Generally it's a bad contact or soldered joint on one of the 5 pin relays on the control board.
Remove and inspect it, re-soldering as necessary.
That should do the trick.
New boards are about a hundred nicker.

If you don`t find it loose connection .Symptons are classic for failed board on this boiler

Thanks namsag, I've just printed off the manual so Ill check the connections before trying to solder it up. Just one thing, do I use leaded or unleaded solder with me rothenberger.
