Potterton Prima F 30 Boiler problems

Hi all,

Looking for some advice and estimate cost on my problem... boiler working ok, but even when the heating is off and only the water is on, the rads get red hot! Someone suggested it sounded like a valve problem...

Any ideas?

If it is a valve problem, what sort of cost am I looking at for someone to do this, approximately..

Times are hard and I have to budget...

Have you looked to see if you have a diverter valve?

Near the HWC would be the first place to look.
In the above, the diverter valve can also be called a motorised valve.
Look a couple of pages back for "Radiators are cold and hot water is available"......shows some motorised valves. Yours maybe stuck and just need freeing
