Hi,
I've got a Potterton Prima F 30 boiler that works perfectly when cold. The problem is that after the heating has been on for about 30 mins, the pilot won't ignite.
Fan comes on, pressure switch trips and the pilot gas valve opens but there are no sparks. A little tap on the front underside of the boiler casing (slightly to the left of the reset switch) makes it spark and ignite so I'm guessing there's a loose connection somewhere that gets worse when the temperature rises. After tapping, it will normally work fine for the next few cycles before playing up again.
I had a quick look and couldn't see any loose wires...is it likely to be the board? If so, anyone got an idea how much these cost and where is a good place to get one from (via post or in the Newcastle upon Tyne area).
Thanks in advance.
