potterton profile 30e

i have recently changed a pump valve on a potterton profile 30e
now the boiler wont fire up or even spark

there is gas and electric to the boiler and the fan is running
but it just wont fire up or even spark

its about fifth teen

im trying to work out is it related to removing the pump valve and pump
or is it a seperate problem


please help asap

Is the pump next to the DV in the airing cupboard near the hot water cylinder? Did you open up the isolation valves quickly and is there a stalk of 15mm pipe on the rpimary going into the hot tank?

You sure fan is running? O/Heat stat tripped? Look under grey boiler box for little finger hole should find red button. Press it in.

i pressed the reset button and it got the fan running when i checked it out at first
then the customer phoned me this morning to tell me that it had fired up as normal
and it was all working correctly
i can only assume that it must be a intermetent fault
