Potterton Promax

Wonder if any body can help this late?,got a Potterton Promax that fires up for approx 10 seconds,then goes out,then fires etc,before going to lockout.

They reset it and it does the same thing. Thank You

Is the pump working?, Does it display any error codes?

No error codes on this boiler,just goes to lock out after a minute or two,and yes the pump is working.

Yes,its definitely firing,but then goes out and trys again,lights again then goes to lockout.thanks

Is the valve(s) opening?

ethier dity or damaged probe
lose wire
faulty pcb

etheir way you need rgi to come out

Could be moisture on top of the condense trap causing it not to rectify.

Seconded, spent 1/2 day on 1 estate defrosting promax condensates with the smae problem

Watch suprima HEs for this. PCB shows APS fault. Don't ask how long I spent on job before I dug MI's out to find this one out
