Hi,
I have a Potterton Puma 80 combi boiler. The low pressure light is constantly coming on but I cannot find any sign of a leak anywhere.
Is there another possible cause to this problem besides loss of water from the system ?

Thanks,

Neil

They stick once the pressure has been low. Change it.

Or remove, clean switch and part of divertor it screws into. Replace, refill...and no pressure light.

Just replacing l/p switch does not always work. (I know from experience)

This applies ONLY if presure is above 0.5 bar and light is on

The pressure can run all the way to zero and it usually happens after the boiler has been switched on and off by the timer not manually ????

Yes you will also have to clean things as S_W says
If you have "boiler pressure problems" ie going down to zero, see that topic in the Ref section.
