Could anyone please offer me some advice i have a puma80 (7yr old) when i put the ch on in about half an hour the pressure goes up beyond 3 bar and prv kicks in. It seems as if the ch sensor is not controling the boilers temp(the pump is work rads downstairs getting hot pretty quick) and also the ch temp control knob does'nt seem to modulate the burner, checked expantion vessel pressure its at 14.5 psi.
Any help would be much appreciated.[/b]

That's odd, when I read this a minute ago there was an answer from Kev! Do as he said - do a search on Pressure Vessel !

How do you bin a post? I thought it would leave an empty one.

The pressure answer is still reasonable even though it won't help with the temperature think, for which I think one would have to be there measuring temperatures inside the boiler etc.
