potterton statesman central heating boiler

we have just moved house and the oil fired central heating boiler keeps blowing fuses. the longest it has been running is for just under an hour and then the fuse blows. we are putting the correct fuse in, and there is plenty of oil. when it does run it works like a dream, but still it blows

does the water pump look old? is it an old blue hammerited affair or a nice red colour ?:D ah the joys of getting all technical.
i would go for water pump or motor on burner. what burner on boiler ?

shiny red cover? or summat else :eek:

burner riello 40-G5BF central heating pump not red or blue!!
 
sounds like the water pump.
if it was the fan then the burner would lockout.

Dead easy, - to buy. Fitting? could take you 15mins to, say, 3 hours!! assuming the disasters are not too big :(
