Hi there, my 1st time in this or any forums, so I hope I do this in the right way..
Please can you help me?
My potterton suprima 40 boiler is 6 years old approx, it is installed in a ground floor flat with 6 radiators.
Recently the pressure as been sitting at 0bar and the boiler makes some grumbling noises.
There are no visable leeks, too the best of my knowledge,
The radiators and hot water. all still work ok.
The green reset light is flashing most of the time and pressing the reset button does not have any immediate effect on this.
I refill the system via the flex cold water feed at the bottom of the boiler.
I turn this on till the pressure is 2bar approx, then turn it back to the off position, however, within 20/30 mins the pressure is back down to 0bar
Is This dangerous?
Am I doing the right thing by filling it up?
Is there a solution you can suggest that will resolve this problem?
I look forward to your answers, and take this oppertunity to thankyou in advance for any/all help/information you supply.
Thankyou.
Yours Sincerely,
Marshall-SS
