:D recently had a problem getting ch working, hw working ok... I have read quite a few posts regarding this boilers problems including pcb's etc..
I guess I was lucky, my pcb was ok,no cracks or broken solder, the connections were all sound.
The boiler was recieving a request from the watertank thermostat.
but it was not recieving the request from the room thermo..
as I thought it was the pcb due to the amount of posts on that subject I almost started down the road of ordering one.but a last ditch effort (technical whack) showed a sticking motor on the tri valve(?)
so all is well and my wife thinks I am a hero ;)
I hope this helps anyone in a similar spot

Just goes to underline the often-expressed point tha you shouldn't go replacing parts without diagnosing where the fault is. A voltmeter would have found the fault very quickly.
