Power surge Problem with Bosch maxx 2003

Hi

We have a Bosch Maxx 2003. Recently we had a huge power surge and it is no longer working. Does anyone know whether there is a protection system on the machine. A switch or something that has maybe flipped or is that the end of our washing machine.
