Hi,
Would appreciate comments on powering a new Hive Receiver from the FSU serving the boiler and all other associated equipment?

This seems to be the logical way to make the connection but unsure if this may affect the Hive receiver if it is switched off every time the boiler is switched off at the FSU - for servicing etc.

If it’s a combi boiler, many are wired this way and afaik don’t pose an issue.

It is the correct way for exactly that reason, so that the whole heating system is isolated from the same point so anyone working on it doesn't get a nasty surprise.

It's also as per the Hive Installation Instructions see Page 9 (3) and Page 11 (3)
