Hello,
I am having a small problem defining zone types for PowerMax Pro alarm system and hope you can help me out.
My home has 7 motion detectors + 2 door sensors (front and back door) and this is how I've defined zone types:
Front door = delay 1
Hall (leads towards front door) = delay 1
Garage = delay 1
Other motion detectors + back door sensor = interior
I have obviously defined front door zone type to delay 1 since I need some time to reach remote keypad in the hall and don't want to trigger the alarm immediately.
Note that the keypad is also covered by motion detector and therefore I defined hall type as delay 1.
It is important to mention that garage zone has also been set to delay 1 since we sometimes forget to turn off the alarm system before opening garage doors.
Other motion detectors have been set to interior (including back door sensor).
Do you think this setup is fine or perhaps I should change something?
Also, does the back door sensor need to be defined as perimeter or interior is just fine?
Thanks in advance.
