I have a good sized three bedroom semi detached house and have a conventional boiler that was put in two years ago by the previous owner that I cant afford to change. The water storage tank (which is old) is in the back bedroom and ideally | would like to relocate this in the attic. Its been explained to me that the header tank needs to be higher than the storage tank but I can get around this problem by having a preassurized water storage tank in the attic. I have never heard of this and would like to hear what the general concensus is about them, and if they are good? if there are any downsides to them?
Would really appreciate some expert opinions
With thanks

DO a search on "Megaflo" which is the "Hoover" type generic term. You do need a good mains supply, which you need to have tested, and they need to be put in by someone qualified.
In a proper installation people are usually very happy with them, when they've finished paying for things.
Probably looking at £1200 - £2000+, depending.
