I want to have a lighting circuit put in to feed cabinet lights in a bedroom. I don't just want a wire coming out of the wall. Which faceplate should be used? i.e. a switched fused cable outlet or something else?
If you are running the lights of off the lighting circuit, you could use a 2 Amp round pin socket & plug, so that if it is a freestanding cabinet, you can just unplug the plug to move the cabinet out.
The cabinets will be wall mounting so the outlets will be fairly high up. Both solutions are available in the MEM stainless steel range so unless anyone else has a thought I'll just pick one of those.
