I am good at working with copper bending and soldering. However I have never used press fit before on copper. Is it easy enough to get used to/get fast at?

Press fit seems to be like Marmite.
Personally, I don't see the point of it because the fittings are expensive, as is the tool to press them.
Each to their own I say.

Yeah id prefer to solder. But I think it's company policy

As above we work on a lot of listed buildings no hot work is normal .
We swapped to press years ago quick clean easy looks great in plant rooms .
Must be 5 years since I've soldered a fitting in a customers property.
Also does wonder's for your liability insurance.

Easy to pick up I imagine?
Dead easy just need a bit of thought to make sure you can get jaws in . We have rems kit with normal plus angled jaws so you can press virtually up to walls.
Quick clean easy all my subcontractors that have used press fittings with me have swapped onto them on there own jobs.

I am not a plumber, and so don't have a dog in this fight, but I see that they have a 25 year warranty.

Is that not a worry?
