Clearing am old workshop recently I came across some figurines that were made in the 70/80's out of some sort of resin or plastic.
Some were fine and just required a polish. One was made in black resin and had the arm broken off .I have successfully glued this back on and with a bit of black boot polish it almost as good as new.
This has lead me to want to repair the last one. However, assuming I can glue it back together I will need to fill a couple of little bits of damage but as it is a semi clear blue colour I will have to paint it to disguise the cracks and fill.
Simple question therefore is what would be the appropreate primer for this resin? It will , by the way , abrade lightly with wire wool and elbow grease.
