Problem Suprima 60 Boiler

I have a Suprima 60 Boiler which immediately heats the upstairs radiators when switched on but will not heat the downstairs radiators. Thermostat is upstairs by the boiler. I've recently had the system flushed but it hasn't changed things.

Any suggestions/help gratefully received

Nothing wrong with your boiler. External controls, port valve/pump or blockage

I believe so.The other thing I should have mentioned is that if I turn the hot water off, the radiators start to warm

i take it the system is fully pumped ,do the rads warm without you calling for heat from the wall stat,if so it does sound like the three way valve or the heating valve (two port valve if it is a s plan)
