Hi,

I have a Hoover wdm 120 washer dryer which has developed a problem. There is water coming out of the dispensing draw you put the powder in. I think that the pipe leading from this is blocked as there is water in the draw still. I put a pipe down it to see if i could dislodge whatever is in it but have had no luck.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be/come across this before? Do you have any advice on how to fix it?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

With washer driers there is usually a water trap built into the pipe from the soap dispenser to the tub. This is to prevent the air from blowing out of the soap dispenser during the drying cycle. I have come across these pipes completly clogged up with soap powder. Its like concrete in the pipe.
Take the top/front off and give the pipe a squeeze. It should flatten easily.
If there is anything in there you will feel it solid .. Take the pipe off and clean it out completly. I have had to use a soft headed hammer on one or two occasions to break the stuff up and get it out.

This advice may be totally wrong as I have been out of the White goods trade for a while now.. But it may be worth a look..
