Problem with pump on hot water solar system

We have recomissioned a hot water solar panel which taken off line about 7 months ago for building works. The system had been working fine until then. The pump was left in its original position until last week when it was plumbed into its new position.
I have power to the pump. The pump is red hot but does not seem to be pumping.

Would pumps seize after monthe of inactivity?
Is this a matter of a new pump?

Pumps will seize.
Undo the large screw in the centre,push in a screwdriver and you will feel/hear the impeller spinning or just give it a thump with a hammer.
