Morning all

Just had a lot of work done on my house and the plumber did a system clean out plus installed a Grundfos 15-60 (used to be a 15-50 in there).

When the hot water is 'ON' I get a high pitched noise from the pump, but no such problem when the heating is 'ON'.
I've tried bleeding the pump it but no joy.

Would appreciate some assistance on this.

Many thanks

Gary

I've been down to 2 and 1 on the settings. Noise is still there but not nearly as audible as on setting 3. Surely though it should be able to run on 3 without making such a din?

I have just had problems with my pump, is the pump definitely working when CH is on? Hold large screwdriver to bleed screw on pump and press other end to your ear, you can then hear if pump is running, you may even be able to decipher what screeching noise is.

EDIT: Put blade of screwdriver to bleed screw!
I do not want to be responsible for someone taking a large screwdriver to A & E stuck in their ear!!

I thought my pump was running when it was not. HW was working through gravity.
