Probs with P.I.R

Hi,I installed a Veritas R8 in September 2008 and used Rokonet Zodiac Pro P.I.R's.I have used this package before and never had any problems ,but now i am getting false alarms from Zone 2 P.I.R,which is a small dining room with a table and 4 chairs in it.I have wired it straight into the Zone 2 terminals and have set the pulse beat to no 2 in the P.I.R.The whole install has worked fine since September and there has been no alterations to the install or room.Is it possible a faulty P.I.R?

PS.The alarm gets set at 2200hrs and it triggers off around 0330 hrs

is it always around the same time? if so its up to you to find out what happens at that time

if its not there is always plan B

Swop the pir with one off another zone , and see if the fault moves with it.

i have just renewed the P.I.R,and will see how that goes
