What's the best product to provide an extra seal along the top of flashband, and to ensure it holds to the brick?

Someone put some flashband down to cover some flashing around a flat roof, with some blackjack type primer underneath. But there's a couple of places where the flashband is slighly loose at the top.

Chase in a lead cover flashing and do away with that cheap shoite. Be sure to follow the relevant lead code lap/max length rules though this time. (y)

Long-term flash it properly.
Short term (specially when it's cold and wet) you need to dry the bricks before priming. Paint stripping heat gun works well- get them dry, brush loose crud off, put the primer on.
Flashband etc also go on better when warmed- lay it in place loose, warm it up, work it into place (wallpaper seam roller is good here).
