Proline SDW800 PW dishwasher not running

My Proline sdw 800 pw dishwasher is not running. The power light comes on but there appears to be no water running into the machine despite checking that there is indeed a running supply.

After a delay of some 10 minutes there is a beebing sound for about 15/20 seconds then silence and no sound of a water pump working.

Incidently what is the bar measurement of water in relation to MPa measurment?

Proline appliances are mainly produced in China. They were formerly sold solely by Comet (or their French counterpart). Service information is pretty thin on the ground. I suggest you check for drain issues first; clogged filters, blocked drain hose/sink spigot, blocked/defective pump etc. If a dishwasher doesn't drain properly it won't fill water either. No-fill issues are not only confined to drain problems but it would a good starting point. Other no-fill culprits could be a faulty inlet valve, clogged inline filters, kinked inlet hose, defective wiring/pcb, or a jammed pressure switch.
1bar = 0.1Mpa
10bar = 1Mpa
These are the min/max supply requirements most manufacturers recommend.
