PROTHERM 80e NOT HEATING UP

Hi I have a Protherm 80e Boiler which works on DHW but when the timer is turned on or placed on constant it does not fire up, although it has operated on a few isolated occasions. The timer was changed two years ago so is probably ok. I did manage to fire up the heating by removing the micro switch assy from the valve and depressing it. The spindle appears to fully extend when DHW isRegards turned on. Can anyone help please? Regards Pete.

Unfortunately your description is impossible to understand.

Please could you rewrite it and say exactly what happens in DHW and CH seperately and then we can try to diagnose what your problem is caused by.
