Hi All

Perhaps someone can help me with the following problem;

Our puma 80 combi has been working fine. What happens now is that when the hot water or central heating has been on for a number of minutes (approx 10mins) it suddenly decides to 'blow out'. The boiler continues to work but with no water or heating. I have to re-light the pilot an restart the boiler.

The water or heating is reluctant to come on until the boiler has 'cooled down' (or it seems that way).

Now what is happening is that when I re-light the pilot, turn on a tap or the heating, the boiler will, after a few seconds blow out!!!.

So I cannot now get any heating or hot water!

The strange thing is that after it has blown out and you turn the tap on or the heating it does what it is supposed to do , although there is no burners comming on.

The water pressure is fine and the red light on the boared for hot water is OK.

Any ideas

Much appreciated

Sounds like it's overheating for some reason and the overheat sensor is killing the pilot (as it's suposed to).

This is CORGI territory. Get Someone In.

Possible flame lift.I.E.Burner fires and lifts the pilot off the thermocouple
