Hi all,

we've got a Puma 80 boiler, and recently the thing keeps switching itself off!!

Come home to find the pilot light out, so relight it, get the heating going (ie goes from pilot to full blast etc), and after about 5-10 minutes, I can hear the relay click and then it goes out completely, even the pilot light!)

If I try to relight the pilot nothing happens, unless I switch the mains power to the boiler off and on, then it will light, but when I put the heating on the same thing happens

Tried it to see if it does it when running hot water from the tap, and it doesn the same thing!

Any ideas? Is it likely to be the pilot relay etc?

Thanks!

It sounds as if your pump is not working but usually when this happens you can still get hot water if you turn the heating off.
