Moved into our current house nearly two years ago. It's a mid-80 link-detached with a WB CDi 37 Combi boiler. The boiler is in the first floor airing cupboard. It appears to be a microbore system as there are 10mm surface mounted pipes coming down the wall from the first floor. They all convert to 15mm about a metre from the rad. I think this was done when the rads were replaced - don't know when. I assume the manifold(s) are under the first floor.
The boiler's pump is on the default setting - proportional pressure, High.
I was wondering what the effect would be if I changed it to one of the constant pressure settings? This would provide each rad with the same pressure, at the manifold. I know this is usually done with underfloor systems; a microbore fed from a manifold is not much different
