PVA sin on new plaster

Dear Experts...in true DIY fashion I have used one coat of PVA 1:3 water to 'seal' newly skimmed plaster and THEN read the general forum advice not to do that. I applied it with a roller.

So, is this a disaster waiting to happen?, do I need to remedy this or do a just carry on now with a coat of thinned down emulsion?

I would try to wash off or at least dilute it by dispersing it as much as possible...
