Hi, I have a pyronics enforcer alarm system which is abt 8 years old. It is V10 I think and it has no WiFi inboard. I have a modem which is wired to one of the outputs and the modem is hard wired into the BT socket. If alarm is triggered we get a call from our landline.

BT are pushing me to full fiber with digital voice meaning I will lose the modem Functionality.

Is there anything I can do as DIY as alternative? I saw some upgrade kit to upgrade PCB to support WiFi but not sure how easy is that. Do I have any other options? Here's the link to upgrade kit.

Thanks for reading my post.

All version 10 panels came with a WiFi card so at a guess it’s a version 9 ….the upgrade pcb is the cheapest option , but all your devices will need relearning and the panel programming …

If all it does is make a "phone call" then no reason for it not to work with digital voice as is. Just plug it into the BT socket on your router (or phone extensions).
