Hi all

Advice would be greatly appreciated on the following;

Did a basic installation when we moved into the house using temporary trunking to get power feed to the control panel, due to have a sparky in soon for a number of jobs including chasing in a new feed to panel.

Question is can I remove panel from wall in engineers mode, relying on battery backup whilst this is done or is there a shut down sequence so none of the programming etc is lost?

Thank you all in advance for any advice.

Should be ok for 5-6 hours any longer power it down, all programming will be kept apart from time and date

Thanks for the prompt reply sparkymarka.

So to confirm if an attempt is made to remove panel from the wall in engineers mode no alarm will be triggered?

Alternatively where do you find the power down option? as I could not seem to find this from the menu's.

Thanks once again.

Power down - Remove Mains fuse to Panel and the Battery, powered down!!!!

There is nothing in the Menus, this is the opposite to Powering up, duh.

Thanks Europlex, obviously, as you stated but concerned this would loose programming of wifi, PIR, remotes etc etc.

Are you saying this wouldn't be the case?

No as said above .....if there are no hardwired devices attached, wire it with a flex and plug top untill your spur/ electrics are done
