Question about down pipe

Hello all,

I just have a question about a down pipe in the front of our house. We live in a terrace house with a concrete front garden with a wall at the end. The down pipe currently releases the water straight onto the concrete next to the house and is not running away very well. The concrete is starting to lift a little as this has been like it for years.

What would be the options for taking this water away from the house

Fit a bend to the bottom of the down pipe, then a short length of pipe to divert the water away.
